Hi to all,

Matt and Shannon just finished their 1st student teaching assignments. They both loved being where they were. Hopefully their next placements will go as well. Shannon is hoping to find a long term subbing job next semester. Matt still has 4 classes left. It would be a real blessing if they could both have jobs for the next school year.

Wedding plans seem to be coming along well. Megan just ordered her dress. Sometimes the guest list can be challenging. Ry has 3 football games left, then will try out for basketball. Daniel and Cole have a few soccer games then play practice for the church musical, and basketball will start. I remain busy running kids, watching games, and staying up on school work. The house work continues to wait. Maybe someday one of my children will decide that they would like to earn some extra money and clean. I won't hold my breath.   Love ya all,    Julie and family

How is everbody doing? We have been staying busy. Matt and Shannon are both enjoying student teaching. Both look forward to their own classrooms, hopefully soon. We solved the computer problem, since nobody wanted to use the one in their rooms, and I got Matt a laptop for his b-day and Christmas. It has kept writing lesson plans very peaceful. Ry has his 1st official football game tomorrow. He is excited, he is a captain, and starting both offense and defense. We will see how that goes. Actually I have to miss it, thank God that my Dad loves to watch those games. Cole will be starting piano lessons tomorrow, hopefully it will be enjoyable, not stressful. She can put too much pressure on herself. Both she and Daniel are playing soccer. Their school year is going well so far. I am enjoying this school year also. My 1st evaluation went well. Hopefully the next 4 will also, then I can be recommended for tenure. We have to be observed 5 times a year. It is nice having 1 done already.

That's about all of our news. Hope that all is going well with you.
